Family Theater review “La Domenica dei Sogni” to start on November 17

The family theater review La Domenica dei Sogni (The Sunday of Dreams), designed to bring new generations and families to the magic of the theater, is back for the twelfth consecutive year.

The 2019-2020 programme includes five new shows at the Teatro Nuovo Menotti – at 4.30 p.m., on Sundays – which have been carefully selected among the productions of the best national companies.

This year the first two shows are free thanks to the project Arriva il teatro!, promoted by Fontemaggiore and supported by Mibact and Umbria Region, which stems from the need to rebuild a cultural offer in the areas affected by the earthquake in Central Italy, in order to facilitate opportunities for meeting and social relations between the inhabitants.

Some collaborations have been confirmed: Fontemaggiore, one of the most recognized and appreciated companies of family theater, will present the first two shows, and the Library goes to theater project will promote the loan of books as a further opportunity to deepen all those emotions and suggestions experienced on the scene, in a fertile encounter between languages and arts.

The event opens on Sunday, November 17 with Mago per Svago by Abile Teatro, Jury Prize and Children’s Prize at the 2018 Festival Clown&Clown Monte San Giusto and Audience Prize at the 2018 Milan Clown Festival . FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL
