On the occasion of the 2020 M’illumino di meno campaign (a sustainable lifestyles feast), on Friday 6 March 2020 the Polo Museale dell’Umbria – Rocca Albornoz e Museo Nazionale del Ducato di Spoleto, in collaboration with Sistema Museo, presents a programme of activities aiming at enhancing the initiative’s value; this year it is devoted to increase the green around us, by planting trees, those wonderful machines that tackle the climate change.

At 17.30 there will be “Let’s plant a pomegranate tree together”, a fruit by the many simbologies which is represented inside the Camera Pinta. The tree will be planted in the Rocca’s park.

At 18.00 there will be “At the castle… with Lucretia’s eyes”, an interesting guided visit to the Rocca Albornoz with lights out, included in the programme of Mezz’ora dopo la chiusura. Participants will be given small handtorches; theirs will be a trip through time, to the period when fires and candles were the only source of light at the mighty fortress, once the seat of the governors of Spoleto. It will be a unique experience to see one of the most important monuments in Spoleto with new eyes. The meeting will end with a tasting of typical products.

Guided visit and tasting € 7,00 (plus the Rocca’s ticket).
