Spazio Collicola: cinema and shows in the courtyard

The programme of SPAZIO COLLICOLA, the cinema and shows series that will be held in the courtyard of Palazzo Collicola, dedicated to Federico Fellini 100 years after his birth, was presented this morning.

The press conference was attended by mayor Umberto de Augustinis, councillor for culture Ada Urbani, Palazzo Collicola artistic director Marco Tonelli and by Alberto Buonfigli representing the Associazione Nazionale Esercenti Cinema (ANEC) Umbria.

It will be a place of meeting and aggregation – said mayor de Augustinis – an open space to discuss quality cinema and to return to share the places of culture and entertainment in our city“.

We are adapting the organization of the various events on the basis of the provisions in force – said councillor Urbani – Today we present the events until July 6, but other artists and friends of the city will expand the program at least until the end of August“.

Spazio Collicola,” added director Tonelli, “meets the need to live the places in the city in a different way, the result of a positive collaboration that we started discussing with Alberto Buonfigli well before the health emergency. The scheduled meetings will also include art-related screenings, such as the tribute to Christo scheduled for Friday’s opening night. On Saturday 27th June we will also reopen Palazzo Collicola with an exhibition by Gianni Asdrubali, followed on Saturday 4th July by Paolo Canevari’s.

We have always collaborated with all the cultural subjects of our city – said Alberto Buonfigli – and we are very happy to work in this space as Cinema Sala Pegasus and Cinema Sala Frau. The space will seat 56, maximum 90 in case of the presence of relatives. For screenings the cost of tickets is € 6.50 (full) and € 5.50 (reduced)“.
