75 years of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale

Celebratory concert on Thursday 9 September at 20.30 at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti

The celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto “A. Belli” continue with the CELEBRATIVE CONCERT, to be held on Thursday 9 September 2021 at 8.30 p.m., at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti.

The concert will open with the Symphony from The Barber of Seville, and continue with a selection of famous arias and duets from the repertoires of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Jules Massenet and Giacomo Puccini. In an ideal encounter between the past, present and future of the institution, the singers who won the Spoleto Singing Competition will perform as soloists: Alec Avedissian, Marina Comparato, Roberto Frontali, Massimo Giordano, Filippo Morace and Daniela Nineva. Together with them, in duet, some of the winners of this year’s competition: Sara Cortolezzis, Oronzo D’Urso and Elena Finelli. The Teatro Lirico Sperimentale Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Carlo Palleschi.
