Early June 2016 marks the return of Vini nel Mondo, the event that focuses on the world of wines in all its facets. The 11th edition will be from 2 to 5 June.
Since its debut in 2005, Vini nel Mondo has been a unique chance to meet the world of wine. Streets and piazzas in Spoleto are the frame of a gorgeous picture where Beauty and Well-Living meet. Quality wines enthusiasts will be attracted by the presence of hundreds of producers, and by the air of feast that imbues Spoleto on such occasions. Once you buy the chalice at the stands of the event, you will be able to get to know a number of excellent wines and taste them. Thematic exhibitions will also have their section with tasting desks where you will be able to appreciate wine and food combinations.
Guided tasting of valuable wines will be introduced by the greatest Italian enologists and award-winning chefs, as well as other VIPs.
As usual, the wine event will also feature live music in various spots of the city, climaxing in the 4 Jun Wine night show, in piazza Duomo, piazza della Libertà and piazza Garibaldi.
For further information visit the event’s official website: www.vininelmondo.org
Cheers!
The Ballet of Moscow will stage Čajkovskij’s Nutcracker on Monday 12 December 2016 at h 21.00 by the Teatro Nuovo “Gian Carlo Menotti” in Spoleto.
Love, dream and fantasy are the marks of one of the most charming ballets in the history of classical dance. The bewitching scenography by the Ballet of Moscow drags the audience right into Hoffmann’s plot. For its fairy tale-like, happy-ending features, as well as its generally enchanted atmosphere, The Nutcracker (that features sweets, toy soldiers, Christmas trees, snowflakes, dancing flowers, wicked mice, prodigies, prince charming and a fairy), has become a ballet that enthralls the young and the grown-up alike. This is why it is the most represented Christmas show in the whole world. The finale is marked by the exquisite “Вальс цветов” (Waltz of the Flowers), after which Clare will end up sitting in her easy-chair with the nutcracker on her womb, happy of her Christmas Rêverie.
