The 64th Study Week on Early Middle Ages organized by Fondazione CISAM – Centro Italiano di Studi sull’Alto Medioevo, will be from 30 Mar to 6 Apr, 2016.
The aim of the Study Week is to take stock of little known researches and stimulate new, interdisciplinary investigations, focusing year after year on specific themes.

A tactile guided tour to the exhibition Trame Longobarde tra architettura e tessuti (Longobard wefts between architecture and fabrics) that will become a fun game for the sighted and the blind. The participants will be blindfolded and led in front of the mannequins, which can be explored through touch. Afterwards, the sighted will be asked to draw the dress touched on a sheet, while the blind will be asked to describe what they touched.

The LXVI Week of Study on the Early Middle Ages, organized by CISAM, will be held from 5 to 11 April 2018 at Albornoz Palace Hotel. This year’s theme will be Migration in the Early Middle Ages.
The lessons will focus in particular on three themes related to migration: Ethno-anthropological Aspects, Migratory Processes and Transplantations and Sedimentations as a Result of Migrations that characterized the period under study.
