h. 11.30 – The art of touching by hand – tactile visit (*)
A tactile guided tour to the exhibition Trame Longobarde tra architettura e tessuti (Longobard wefts between architecture and fabrics) that will become a fun game for the sighted and the blind. The participants will be blindfolded and led in front of the mannequins, which can be explored through touch. Afterwards, the sighted will be asked to draw the dress touched on a sheet, while the blind will be asked to describe what they touched.
Aimed at sighted and blind people.

h. 15.30 – (S)Balzo nel tempo – educational workshop (*)
A workshop to learn about the secrets of the embossing technique! It will be preceded by a visit to the precious jewelry kept in the National Museum of the Duchy.
From 6 years old and upwards.

h. 17.30 – Play with the Longobards – educational workshop (*)
An exciting game in giant format to discover history, culture and curiosities of the Longobard world.
From 8 years old and upwards

h. 17.30 – Sala Eugenio IV – Convivium pars prima
At table with King Rotari. Barbaric flavours and oriental contaminations at the origins of Italian cuisine
Some reflections on the contributions of Germanic and eastern cultures to the formation of an’ Italian way’ to Mediterranean cuisine in the context of the Longobard acculturation (phase of migration and settlement in Italy).

h. 9.30 – Bike tour in the Longobard Duchy of Spoleto
A guided bike tour within everyone’s reach, where historical and artistic beauties are combined with an unforgettable landscape and nature. We leave from Spoleto and, through the Valle Umbra cycle path, we arrive at Campello sul Clitunno.
h. 9.45 – departure from Terminal Le Mattonelle (via E. Mattei, loc. Pontebari – Spoleto); Pontebari
h. 10.30 – detour with stop at San Giacomo and guided tour of the frescoes by Giovanni di Pietro, known as “Lo Spagna”;
h. 11.45 – guided tour of the UNESCO site of Campello sul Clitunno, the Temple of Clitunno.
You can also reach the group directly by car and take the two guided tours.
A/R 22 km flat route. Difficulty: easy. Road: paved.
If you don’t have a bike, you can rent it for a fee at the Terminal Le Mattonelle.

@ Basilica di San Salvatore
h. 15.00-17 .00 – Special opening of the Basilica’s main door
The Basilica is closed since January 2017 due to the earthquake; exceptionally, its main door will be opened so that it will be possible to admire the central nave (only from the outside).

All activities are free except the dinner.
