***JULY 2020 UPDATE***
The CAI path that leads from Spoleto to Monteluco (“Corta di Monteluco”) is currently not entirely passable due to upgrading and safety works. 

Besides Spoleto, it is possible to make a stop in Monteluco (1 hour away from Spoleto, walking among age-old holm-oaks); accommodation and restoration facilities available.
